Who are Instant Baches?
Instant Baches has evolved through Caravan Imports, New Zealand’s leading importer of high quality UK used and new caravans. We are excited about bringing brand new outstanding quality UK made Instant Baches to New Zealand.

Why import the Instant Baches from the UK?
Willerby, the company that make our Instant Baches were established in 1946 and over the last 7 decades, the Willerby name has become synonymous with innovative design, stylish interiors and above all, exceptional quality standards. All our homes have been built specifically to new Zealand Building Standards.
Which Instant Bach shall I choose?
With 10 models available and a choice of 2 and 3 bedroom options, it has never been easier to select your perfect holiday home or second dwelling. Click on the video tab of each model to view our walk through videos.
What fixtures and fittings come with my Instant Bach?
All of our models come with a fully fitted kitchen including quality European appliances. Luxury fully fitted quality bathrooms. Carpets, curtains, lounge and dining furniture, beds and bedding are included in the cost of your Bach. Everything you see in the pictures, except, TV, small appliances and ornaments are included. For a full list of fixtures and fittings and additional options please refer to each individual Bach and click on the Floorplan section.
How long will my Bach take to arrive from the UK?
Once your order is placed, we would expect your Bach to arrive within 6-10 weeks. This will be dependent on the availability of the Bach you have chosen and the shipping schedule at that time.
How does my Bach arrive from the UK?
The Instant Baches are transported completely built and fitted out. Our team have a long standing and excellent relationship with top UK and New Zealand shippers who ensure that the Bach is loaded in the UK and transported directly to Auckland. It will then be dispatched to our Warehouse for quality control and compliance and then is ready for delivery. Transportation is arranged through us and our expert logistics team who will deliver your home to site anywhere in New Zealand with the minimum of fuss (transport cost to your site (note: does not include site or piling) is included in the price for location on the North Island). A surcharge will apply to the South Island and difficult sites which require specialist moving equipment.
What if my Bach is damaged on its way to New Zealand?
This is very unlikely as the Instant Baches are packed to a high standard and shipped by reputable and professional shippers. If, however, there was any damage this would be covered by the insurance that has been paid by Instant Baches. Any damage would be rectified prior to payment of the final instalment.
Is my Bach ready to use?
Your Bach will already be built, electric and gas certified to NZ Standards. Plumbing is already installed in your Bach and requires e connection on site by a NZ registered plumber of your choice. Once located and connected to gas, electricity and water, your Bach is ready for living. These static caravans are fully insulated to one and a half times the requirement of zone 3 in New Zealand. All the top quality integrated appliances are in situ and the furniture, will just need un-wrapping and placing.
Does my Bach come with a Warranty?
The Warranty Scheme provides you with comprehensive warranty cover for 12 calendar months from the date you take ownership of your new Instant Bach. There is a further two year warranty (after the initial 12 months) on certain items like Shower cubicles, Soft furnishings, chairs and upholstery.(Full list is below) You also benefit from a further 4 years structural warranty (after the initial 12 months) on the external doors, PVCu windows, roof, walls, ceilings, carpets and condensing combi boiler. In addition there is a full 12 year anti-corrosion warranty on the fully galvanized chassis. For more information on the warranty - click here.
Do I need Council consent to site my Instant Bach?
This will vary depending on where you would like your Bach located. Generally if the Bach is permanently sited, resource and building consent maybe required.
Our Instant Baches are building consent approved and we will provide support for your building consent, we are happy to assist, and can recommend professionals with experience of the product to assist in the process. Instant Baches encourage you to discuss any requirements with your Council prior to locating your Bach.
How do I place my order for my Instant Bach?
There are three stages to the purchase of your Instant Bach. Together with a signed Sale & Purchase agreement, a payment of fifty percent of the cost of the Instant Bach will be payable to Instant Baches. This secures your order and begins the journey of your Instant Bach. The Bach will then be transported to a Port in Southern England and placed on the first available ship bound to New Zealand. At this stage your second instalment of twenty five percent is payable. Once the Instant Bach has arrived in Auckland it will be transferred to our warehouse on Auckland’s North Shore. The final instalment will be payable after final inspection.
